Philosophy
Six things we believe about money.
These aren't marketing claims. They're engineering constraints we operate under. When we build a feature, it either violates one of these or it doesn't.
Determinism over intelligence
Financial projections must be reproducible. The same inputs always produce the same outputs. No black boxes, no AI-generated numbers. Intelligence helps you understand the output — it never generates it.
Your data, your constants
Every return assumption, every inflation rate, every withdrawal rate in Freedomwise comes from your data. We refuse to hardcode constants that decide your financial future. If you believe your equity portfolio compounds at 12%, Freedomwise projects at 12%.
Upstream of advice
Freedomwise is a computation engine and planning tool, not an advisor. We surface facts. We don't tell you which fund to buy. If you want advice, the AFS flow connects you with a SEBI-registered advisor who works inside the platform.
Independence over optimization
Optimal returns are not the goal — sustainable, stress-tested financial independence is. A portfolio optimized for returns at the cost of resilience will fail at the worst time. We optimize for the probability of reaching FI, not for the highest expected value.
Wealth is patient
The biggest enemy of wealth accumulation in India is impatience. Market timing, frequent rebalancing, chasing sectors, trend-following — all evidence-free. We never surface these patterns. We only surface the compound interest table.
Transparency as a feature
The Freedom Score formula is public. The computation logic is auditable TypeScript. The guardrails are documented. We have nothing to hide because we have no products to sell. Transparency is our moat.
Financial independence for every Indian household is an engineering problem. The math is known. The instruments exist. What's missing is a clear picture of where you are — and a deterministic model of where you're going.
That's what Freedomwise is.
