What is Freedomwise?
Freedomwise is a financial planning platform for India's salaried professionals and DIY investors. It combines deterministic TypeScript computation (reproducible to the rupee) with AI narration. Three focused wedges: Debt-to-Freedom, Retirement Readiness, and FI Intelligence.
What is the Freedom Score?
A single number from −100 to +100 that captures your entire financial state. Three components: FI Progress (40 pts), Compounding Quality (40 pts), and Resilience (20 pts). Seven named tiers from Survival to Legacy. Full methodology at /methodology.
What is the difference between SFS and AFS?
SFS (Self-reported Freedom Score) is computed from data you enter. AFS (Audited Freedom Score) is the identical computation, but a SEBI-registered advisor has reviewed the underlying data inside the platform and signed an attestation. The badge shows their name and SEBI registration.
What assets can I track?
Equities, mutual funds, term deposits, alternate schemes (AIF/PMS), commodities, real estate, EPFO, NPS, PPF, gold, and more. All 10 asset types have dedicated dashboards.
Does Freedomwise give investment advice?
No. Freedomwise is a computation and planning tool, not a SEBI-registered investment advisor. The AI narrates your pre-computed facts — it explains, never invents numbers. For advice, use the AFS flow to connect with a SEBI-registered advisor on the platform.
Pricing & Credits
How do AI credits work?
Credits power advanced AI features: chat messages (1 cr), journey insights (7 cr), research reports (14 cr), portfolio analysis (21 cr), life plan generation (21 cr). All computed data — Freedom Score, projections, calculators — is always free. Credits never expire on purchased packs; monthly plan credits reset each cycle.
Can I use Freedomwise for free?
Yes. The Free plan is permanent: 21 AI credits/month, full Freedom Score dashboard, all three wedge tools, all 35+ public calculators. No credit card required.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Credits are prorated on upgrade.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, UPI, and net banking via Razorpay.
Privacy & Security
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit via Supabase. We do not store bank credentials. We do not sell your data. All public sharing (leaderboard, badge) is strictly opt-in.
Who can see my Freedom Score?
By default, only you. To share publicly, you opt into the leaderboard with a display handle of your choice. Badge embedding requires explicit opt-in. You can opt out at any time.
Do you comply with DPDP?
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Our privacy policy at /legal/privacy details your rights, data retention, and deletion procedures.
Advisors
How does the advisor model work?
SEBI-registered advisors get a separate seat on Freedomwise. They invite clients, who consent explicitly. Advisors access client dashboards via the same three wedge tools. All activity is logged. The Advisor Starter plan is free for up to 3 clients.
What is an Audited Freedom Score attestation?
An advisor onboards the client, reviews their data inside the platform, and clicks 'Attest'. This flips the score_kind from SFS → AFS. The advisor's name and SEBI registration appear on every AFS badge. The attestation is logged and cannot be reversed without admin action.
